Listing is for any size x 1/8” to 3/16” thick plywood material to go behind cabinet inserts. Wood type and size determine pricing(per square inch). Please also see our cabinet insert and colorcast cabinet insert sections.
STANDARD insert backing wood types are maple, red oak, birch, alder, hickory, and pine at $.08 per sq inch pricing. All woods are unfinished.
PREMIUM insert backing wood types are walnut, cherry and white oak at $.12 per sq inch pricing. All woods are unfinished.
OTHER AVAILABLE backing material:3/16 thick Clear Acrylic $.08 per sq inch, 3/16 thick Frosted Acrylic $.12.
Some customers use and source their own material for insert backing like screen, cloth, decorative pattern glass, standard glass, foam etc.
